In my position as Cultural Attaché, (1991-1998) I have created and/or coordinated several projects.
Some of the them are outlined below.
In the South-East Asia region:
The "An Evening of Italian Comedy" Asian tour, 1993, which introduced our Commedia dell'Arte in Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand;
The "Young Italian Artists" exhibition, 1994, also shown in Bangkok and Jakarta, presenting 49 Italian artists;
In San Francisco:
Coordination of the project "A Bell Tower for Nicholas Green". A monument, installed in Bodega Bay, CA, made of more than 100 bells donated by Italians in remembrance of the American child Nicholas Green who was murdered by road bandits while vacationing in Italy with his family.
Development of the cultural centre WEB site and software for the management of the Centre.
In India:
Coordination of the Italian Cultural Center activities for the one year project "Italy's Homage to India" (on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of India's independence). The project included several cultural events of international standing and ended in January 1998 with the official visit to India of Italian P.M. Hon. Romano Prodi.
Creation of a Windows NT LAN and a computerized "Information on Italy" Service in the Italian Embassy Cultural Centre of New Delhi.
Development of accountancy software for Italian Cultural Centres.
